What You'll Build
By the end of this guide, you'll have a fully configured AI phone agent that answers calls to your own phone number, knows about your business, and can book appointments, send emails, answer FAQs, and qualify leads — all on autopilot.
The entire process takes about 3 minutes. Here's what you'll need:
Sign Up for Free
Head to app.saasyvoice.ai and create your account. You can sign up with Google or use email and password.
No credit card required. Every account starts with a free 15-minute trial (450 points) — enough to build, test, and make real calls with your first agent.
Get a Phone Number
Navigate to the Phone Numbers page from the top navigation bar. This is where you'll get the number that callers will dial to reach your AI agent.
- Search for available US numbers by area code
- Pick a number that works for your business
- Purchase and activate — it's ready in seconds
Tip: Choose an area code local to your business — callers are more likely to answer and trust local numbers.
Create a New Inbound Agent
Go to the Inbound page and click "Create Agent." The quick setup wizard walks you through the basics:
- Agent Name — give it a recognizable name
- Personality Style — Professional, Sassy, Casual, Attentive, or Direct
- Voice — choose from natural-sounding voice options
- Phone Greeting — what the agent says when it picks up
Click Create and your agent shell is ready. The real magic happens next.
Use the Setup Assistant (Auto Setup)
After creating your agent, the Setup Consultant opens automatically. This is your AI-powered assistant that configures everything for you.
Choose Auto Setup (the Rocket option) and provide two things:
- Your agent's purpose — a high-level description of what it should do. For example: "Answer calls for my dental practice and book appointments"
- Your website URL — the AI will research your site, scrape your pages, and learn about your business automatically
The AI presents a configuration plan showing what it found and what it will set up. Review it, then click "Approve & Start Setup."
Prefer more control? Choose "Guided Setup" instead — the consultant walks you through each setting step by step with questions.
Link Your Phone Number
The final step — connect the phone number you purchased in Step 2 to your newly configured agent.
- Open your agent's settings panel
- Select the phone number from the dropdown
- Your agent is now live and ready to answer calls
That's it. Your AI phone agent is active. Callers who dial your number will be greeted by your agent, which knows about your business and can take action.
